Guide To Fit

Fitting a firm full suit turtleneck can be challenge for some so we have provided this general guide. It is important you understand this is a guide only and that at all times you should be gentle when fitting any garments.

There are two options we have had success with.

Option 1: Standing Position

STEP
INSTRUCTIONS
1
Roll the neck down and fit this over your hound’s head first.
2
Put one front leg in first and then the other. The second leg will be a bit more difficult to fit, but should easily go in. Be gentle and careful.
3
Pull the rest of the garment towards the back, towards the tail.
4
Lift one of the rear legs and stretch the garment so the leg slips in. Be vary careful here to not position the leg to hurt your hound.
5
You should now have three legs fitted, two front and one back with one rear leg to go.
6
Grab the internal part of the rear leg section on the leg you just fitted and make sure it is up as far as it can go. Once done carefully stretch the other garment leg down and lift your hound’s leg to fit in the top of the leg hole. Be gentle and do not force the leg into any unnatural position that may hurt your hound.
7
Your hound should now be snugly fitted. Now make a few adjustments using your hands to make sure nothing is pulling on your hound’s skin.
8
You are done.

Option 2: Sitting Position

STEP
INSTRUCTIONS
1
In the standing position, roll the neck down and fit this over your hound’s head first.
2
Put one front leg in first and then the other. The second leg will be a bit more difficult to fit, but should easily go in.
3
Pull the rest of the garment towards the back, towards the tail.
4
Guide your hound to sit. Once sitting slide the feet in the appropriate leg holes. Be careful not to force the leg into any unnatural position. This should be considerably easier. This is also how you should take the garment off, in the sitting position.
