All Italian Greyhound Clothing & Whippet Clothing should be adopt our classic designs. We developed this half suit to fit the unique shape of your hound by undertaking research on how Italian Greyhounds & Whippets move, even when on the run. This half suit is the culmination of that research. It is designed to fit firmly. This suit is fleecy on the inside to keep them warm and smooth on the outside to keep them stylish. Your Iggy & Whippet will stay warm even in the coldest of climates. Fleece quality/weight is 320 gm.
Pee Clearance
We have made allowance on the underside so they can do their business without getting their business on them (Minimise). If your Iggy or Whippet have a tendency to pee on their front legs and chest then you may wish to consider our Pee Proof suits.
Firm Fit
We have matching stretch ribbing around the legs and neck, as well as the under side of the garment, to ensure any gusts of wind have no where to go.
Fleece Quality
We use an Australian made and designed fleece. Our fleece is 320gsm and is considered a high density fleece with Anti-Pill qualities.

This fleecy half suit was meticulously made. Beautiful fabric on the outside, a bit too warm on the inside (for Queensland winters). The problem was, that there was no stretch which restricted our hound’s movement. The other problem was also, that the jumper was too small. We ordered XS because our hound scored 46 cm around the chest, 38 cm in her body and 24 cm around her neck. It looked like that XS size is the right choice but it was not. The neck fitted perfectly and so was the body length however, the chest was a significant issue – it caused tension under her armpits, it has been pulling the fabric backwards and restricting her front leg movement. Also, the elastic sewn in the tummy section positioned exactly onto the deepest part of her rib cage and caused an instant discomfort. It was very sad to return all our order. It was beautifully presented and well made. Soon after the return we made another order. We chose a different fabric (cotton & spandex) in larger size (S). I hope this was the right decision with a better fit.

Hello Eva, thank you for that detailed review and feedback. With such a wide variety of sizes of these little hounds it can be challenging designing a fit for all of the various sizes. Next time please email us (or call us) as we would have recommend that you not go for a full suit style, but rather a half suit, which is more forgiving in length. These suits are also not as warm given you live in Queensland.
